Castle Mead Academy building takes shape

We’re delighted to report that good progress is being made on our new Castle Mead Academy building.

Our newest school is on schedule to open the doors of its brand new, state of the art building for the start of the 2021/22 school year and staff and pupils can’t wait. Castle Mead opened in temporary accommodation in September 2019 and currently has 237 Year 7 and 8 pupils. The three-storey building eventually will be home to 1,200 pupils in Years 7 to 11 and 140 staff.

The pictures below show what the school will look like when it is complete.

The Leicester Mercury recently stopped by to check on progress on the build. You can read the story on the Leicester Mercury website.
