We are pleased to confirm that the Trust has recently changed its name from Rushey Mead Educational Trust to The Mead Educational Trust.
The Trust was incorporated in June 2014 and was initially named after the first school to join the Trust, Rushey Mead Academy. Since then, the Trust has developed into a well-established, respected multi academy trust that comprises seven academies, a teaching school and a secondary teacher training provider.
Carolyn Robson CBE, chief executive officer of The Mead Educational Trust, said: “the change of name reflects the Trust’s growth and development as a family of academies. We remain committed to working together to make a positive difference and continue to improve the life changes of children and young people through high aspirations and challenge ”
