Despite the challenges in recruitment, particularly at secondary phase, we still firmly believe that working in schools, as a teacher or in a support role, is one of the most rewarding and satisfying careers you could ever have. TMET runs initial teacher training through the Leicestershire Secondary SCITT and has close links with the Leicestershire primary SCITT. We are also launching The Mead Institute to provide ongoing support, training and professional development to staff across schools in Leicester.
