The final step for 3SS was pouring the batter into the cupcake holders, ready for baking. The cakes smelt delicious! Remember, we are selling them to KS2 later this week, so bring your ยฃ1! ๐ง๐We will now decorate them to make them look like a ๐

3SS have started making the base for their volcano inspired cupcakes. We followed a chocolate cake recipe (as this was the most popular choice in our market research). There was some great teamwork and cross curricular links, as we were reading scales. ๐ง๐
The next step in our DT project was for the children to plan out what their final product will look like. 3SS discussed which flavour cake we would make and how to decorate the cake to make it look like a volcano. ๐๐ง
After a lot of hunting, we found Moai Hava from Easter Island! We were impressed with the size of his head! ๐
3HW had a fabulous afternoon beginning to learn how to play cricket. They demonstrated excellent catching skills and enjoyed the coaching very much.
